Questions: 1) How do commercial businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and government agencies listen to individual consumers? 2) Which is more valuable to vendors' knowledge about individual consumers' needs and desires: information derived from big data analytics, or from direct, personal contact via messages/surveys/interviews? 3) How do the companies rate their own ability to know what their consumers want, and how does that compare with what the consumers say about their own needs and desires? 4) How can we measure the influence consumers have on their vendor's offerings and business practices?
